We took Javi to his first county fair yesterday. He already loves animals, and we wanted to give him a chance to see some farm animals up close (he plays w/ farm animals in his bathtub). So we drove out to the Montgomery County Ag Fair in Gaithersburg.
Javi loved it. He wanted to reach out & grab every animal he saw. Sadly, there was no actual petting zoo area, and most of the animals were out of reach. But he got to pet some cows. And he met his first llamas & alpacas.
The Maryland State Fair (in Timonium) starts in about two weeks. I’ll miss most of it because of travel commitments. But hopefully K8 & Javi will get a chance to go out again.

The clouds were beautiful on Saturday. Glad you all had a nice time in my home county. :)
