There’s a new meme going around the interweb (mostly on Facebook) asking people to post a list of the 25 albums that are “most influential” to them. That’s a tall order, and I’m not sure I did the task justice.
But here’s my list. It’s organized more or less chronologically, as I discovered bands that took my life in new directions (musically or otherwise). If I include two albums by The Cure, well, it’s been my favorite band since I discovered it. Some of the others are first albums that introduced me to band (or even a new slew of bands!), or were (in my opinion) their better work.
