Updates & Redesign

I finally took the plunge & updated to MT 4. The main benefit is to require registration for comments (too much spam was the main reason why I was often reluctant to blog--the whole thing became more of a hassle than a pleasant experience). The downside is that to do it quickly, I had to let LivingDot support staff (who are great, btw) just do a cold reset, which meant using default templates. All previous entries/comments are still there. But it may take a while for me to do a site redesign to tailor the look. Be patient. Hopefully, once this is done, I can get back to doing regular updates.

Got back from the APSA Teaching & Learning Conference in Philadelphia last night. In addition to my conference duties, I also got to spend some time catching up w/ my little brother (Andy/Andrés), a lovely dinner w/ Jake & Megan, as well as meeting (in person) my Twitter friend Ari (who teaches political theory at UN-Lincoln). But let me focus here on the teaching conference.
