Meet Amelia Zoë

Well, she's finally here. And only about an hour behind schedule.

Meet the newest member of the Centellas clan: Amelia Zoë Centellas. At a “normal” 7.1 lbs, 19.5 inches she’s remarkably petit—compared to the giant that Javi was. She actually fits into newborn diapers/clothes, which means I have to go shopping. Gives me a chance to take Javi out to buy his sister a present (he was excited all morning).

The procedure went smoothly & everyone’s resting comfortably. Overall, we’re very happy w/ Baptist Memorial Hospital.

We're hoping to relax & enjoy our new addition, even as we prepare for the incoming flood of final exams & papers. More news as it develops.

Get ready for summer!

A lot of changes are coming our way this summer. Get ready to meet Amelia Zoë. Perhaps a number of other changes, too. Stay tuned.

Oh, and once the madness of this semester--and the new site re-redesign--I will get back to blogging. Including posts from Oxford, La Paz, Santa Cruz, Chicago, South Bend, Saginaw, and various points in between.

These are very, very early projections (from El Deber). So these could change, as new tallies come in. And the the final "official" count won't come for a few weeks. But so far, this is what the results of today's local/regional elections in Bolivia look like:
